Recent Happenings, In Short.....

· Only 10 days before we leave for DISNEYLAND!!!!
· We lost Gunner on Tuesday night when we went over to a friend’s house for dinner. He decided to go on an “adventure” on their SEVERAL acre, very wooded property. We searched for 2 hours in the mud and blackberry bushes. He returned reeking of fish guts and “all kinds of cut up” by the berry bushes. Must have been quite the adventure for the little fella.
· I am having ANOTHER tooth pulled tomorrow at 2pm. If you think of me, please pray! I am looking forward to being able to eat hot and cold things again without pain! Of course, there won’t be much eating going on for a week or so. :/
· I get to visit my parents on Saturday while my hubby is at a men’s prayer breakfast. YAY! Also, going to a birthday party for a “nephew” Caden who is turning 2.
· I am working on some piano pieces for Easter Sunday but not having much success. I just can’t seem to figure out “Ab”.
· Started a new diet with my hubby because things were “starting to jiggle” and it’s been a while since I have worked out. So far, so good. Things are “shaping up” quite nicely. We’ve been on 3 hikes since then and I am LOVING the weather (when it decides it wants to be spring that is)
· Working in the “garden”, or whatever you could call it. I cleared out our courtyard completely of all the weeds, grass and unidentifiable foliage that was growing in it. It was starting to resemble a moshpit and I decided to do an overhaul and start from scratch. Right now it is just dirt. Any suggestions of something to plant there?!
· Made some FANTASTIC spaghetti sauce last night.
Ingredients:
1. 1 large can of tomato sauce
2. 1 small can of Campbell’s cheddar cheese soup,
3. Seasonings: dried onions, garlic powder, Italian seasonings, oregano, chili powder and thyme. Your guess is as good as mine as far as the amount of each seasoning, I just started throwing things in!
VERY tasty with turkey ground beef, Italian sausage and our spinach fettuccine noodles.
