Wedding Bells

Yesterday's fellowship brought about some wedding talk as well as dinner entrees, and it has had me thinking about my wedding day. It seemed appropriate when I was tagged in a note on FB to succumb to it and fill out this little survey. I wish I had pictures but, none of mine are digital and the scanner I have really doesn't cut it as far as pictures go.....I'll be working on that though. Looking back on the day, I would have done SO many things very differently as my tastes and things have changed so much. Although, at the same time, I thought my wedding was PERFECT and for that day really wouldn't have changed a thing!

1) When was your wedding day? August 9, 2003

2) What day of the week was it? Saturday at 11am

3) Did you get married in a church? Bible Baptist Church, Puyallup, WA

4) How many in your wedding party? TOO MANY! 16 total. 6 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, 5 groomsmen, 1 ring barrier and the two of us.

5) How many guests were invited to your wedding? 300-400ish

6) How long did you wait to Tie The Knot after your proposal? 9 LONG months

7) Did you register for gifts? Yes at Target
8) Who did you hire as your photographer & videographer? Sarah Muson was the BEST photographer (and friend) and we had a couple different people videotape. Although, I don’t have a copy of any of them!
9) Did you have a DJ or a band? No
10) Did your father walk you down the aisle? Yes, prepping me each step of the way. “Left, Right, Left, Right”
11) What color were the bridesmaid dresses & groomsmen vests? Bridesmaids: White tops with red skirts Groomsmen: Red Vests with red bow ties

12) Who was your Maid Of Honor? My sister in law, Angela Harper

13) Did you have a bridal shower? Yes 2, one thrown by Angela at BBC (they loved me before I even became a member there!) and one thrown by April Moss from my church. I was VERY spoiled!!

14) What type of limo did you get? No Limo, We left in his Red Dodge Pickup

15) Where did you go for your Bachelorette/Bachelor Party? Terri Walker and my bridesmaids kidnapped me and....................it was fun.
16) What type of wedding gown/tux did you two wear? White dress with sweetheart cut bodice and buttons all the way down the back (very simple, just the way I like it!)
He wore a kinda western styleish tux with black cherry boots.

17) How was the weather? HOT HOT HOT, I remember taking a break with my dress lifted over an air conditioner unit in the fellowship hall just to cool off!

18) Where did you go on your Honeymoon? ANACORTES WA!!!! (Where we live now!) San Juan Islands, and Astoria Oregon

19) What was your favorite part of your wedding day? Leaving from the church with JUST me and him. We NEVER got to be alone!!!
